Dear Readers!
University of Bamyan is the host of 7 faculties, 34 departments and around 200 lecturers. This governmental university is one of the biggest universities in the country while having more than 5500 students, the majority of them are male and minority of the students are females. For the first time University of Bamyan was developed in 1996 while having two faculties and after a short term activity, because of the civil war, its doors were closed for seven years. Fortunately once again the doors of Bamyan University were reopened in 2004 and from that time till now this University has played a significant role in the education of the youngsters. The leadership of the University are punctual for the advancement of educational level, quality accreditation, peaceful and wholesome environment for brothers and sisters. Preparation of a curriculum depended on the needs and basis of current economics of the society, competition in the development of academic programs, while looking forward to the fundamentals of Islam and higher education ministry rules.     
Sports, gender and access to the modern technology are other issues that have initial precedence of Bamyan University. It is not only our commitment to prepare the youngster on the basis of modern technology, but our goals are to submit educated youths whom are pleased with the special sensitivity for their country, moral values, cultural and historical issues.
